QuiltCon Block Challenge!

(Mind not the crazy stuff going on in the background. Yes that's a fabulous huge box from a fabric store... )

Is anyone else planning on giving it a shot?? You can read details here, but pretty much they're taking submissions for blocks that say "modern" to you, using the QuiltCon colors. They'll use about 20 of them for a quilt for the weekend.... and the others will be made into donation quilts.

The blocks will be judged by Elizabeth Hartman. That's pretty awesome.

I have at least one idea for a block. It's very "me" and also really modern to me.

By the way, my QuiltCon savings jar is filling up. I just might get there! :) Here's hoping!

  3. I hope you make it too. You are closer to my neck of the woods. I had to choose between QuiltCon and Sewing Summit. Let's hope it was a good choice - I think it will be. Looks like a blast and it is close to home. Can't go wrong there!!

OH, love the Niffenegger book--I used to live close to Clark & Belmont so all those places were so amazing to visit again...especially Ann Sathers!
