{Modern} Robin - sewing at the retreat!

A few months ago Emily and I decided to start a little quilting swaping project. It's a different take on a Round Robin. We've been sewing and swapping for a couple months now, and we've got one more round to go before we're finished!

As if that wasn't cool enough, we both got to work on ours simultaneously at the Chicago Modern Quilt Guild spring retreat! There sure was a lot of color going on at that table!!

I can't wait to see what our projects look like when they're finished - just one more round!! I'm thinking a bold off-center border of a light aqua solid will be the finishing touch - we'll see what Emily adds to it first though!

Below here is photo of Emily's piece. Pretty awesome if you ask me! Do you think she's finished adding that border yet? I've got a list of ideas for the last bit!

  1. Stunning quilt! Sounds like it's fun to make, too. A win-win! :-)

  2. Wow! Amazing. Love them both, can't wait to see the finished quilts!
