Finish it up week - and a giveaway!

Did you finish your stuff last week? I had a fun time trying to finish all mine! Here's what I managed to accomplish:

Pieced together my QAYG Bella Parade blocks - and bound all those seams. Cut binding for the outside edges.

Finished piecing my {Sew} Beautiful Bee quilt. Top complete!

Finished piecing my Bohemian quilt. Basted it too!

Started and finished some cute little needlebooks for the RATZ Swap!

Aren't they just too cute? One of them will be sent off to one of the Finish it up weeks's participants! Leave a comment here telling me what you finished (or what you attempted to finish) this past week. You'll get a chance to win that teeny adorable needlebook! Be sure that you're not a no-reply blogger though, so I can contact you if you win!!

  11. I really like your Beautiful bee quilt, the background fabric really makes it pop! I finished a quilt top in a day, Schnibbles "Imagine" for the "year of schnibbles" on pinkpincushions blog. Also got some bindings done. not too shabby!!

  12. Sadly I didn't get very many of my "to-do's" done. I did manage to sew a fair amount of my bow tie blocks for the exchange group on flickr, and I also went ahead and made little pinwheels out of the HSTs that got generated as a result. And my house is fairly clean, so I'm not complaining too much. The good thing about my friend's visit (actually, there are a ton of good things) is that it forced me to make a pile of all my UFOs. Not too bad, but not too good. Time to buckle down tomorrow during my quilt group. :)

  17. That is an adorable needle book. This week I worked on lots of things. I am making 5 quilts for Christams and all of the tops are now complete, and backings were made this last weekend. One quilt is ready for the long-arm, two are basted, one is ready to be basted, and the last one is quilted with binding ready to be stiched to the back. I was very productive this last week.

  18. OM, that is darling! I finished a it-took-a-hundred-hours gift (andthe recipient is so worth the effort), but I can't post it 'til after it arrives at its destination. It's killin' me! Also finished the first popsicle from the Super Penquin Quilt-Along. It's a great feeling to get a fun project finished, eh?
