I can't really believe it, but this is my 100th post! To celebrate my 100th post I'm giving way all this loot (and more). One lucky winner will get one handmade pincushion (made by me), an inspirational copy of Miniature Quilters (from the 90's), 1/2 yd of this crazy batick fabric, and the three quilt patterns shown. I have the fortunate experience of working at a used bookstore, where we really don't have the shelfspace or demand to keep quilt patterns on the shelf - so they all go home to me! I'll be sure to add some odds and ends too... whatever I have around that looks pleasing. :)
And....
One lucky winner will get this set of notecards (12, blank inside), and some purple/pink/grey scraps to make your own set of quilted cards. I'll send a little how-to as well. All you'll need is your sewing machine and a glue stick!
So here's the deal; I will be chosing the winners on August 21st. That leaves you a little more than a week to sign up. The first giveaway is only open to central US residents (sorry it's just too heavy). But the second is open to everyone. Here's how to sign up:
- Leave a comment (tell me about something... your latest project, how much you love my blog ...hehe... anything, or just say hi) (1 entry)
- Follow my blog & let me know in the comments (1 additional entry)
- Post about it on your blogflickr/facebook etc (1 extra entry total) - don't forget to leave me a link to your post)
Thanks for stopping by! :)
Nice giveaway. Happy 100th post. I have almost finished my DQS mini and have another quilt to bind today, then need to finish a quilt for my boy's 4th birthday which is on Monday. Busy !!
ReplyDeleteI have a giveaway over on my blog too :-)
What a great giveaway! I love the pincusions :) I'm working on some blocks at the moment, enjoying using some fabric I've been holding onto forever.
ReplyDeleteCongrats on your 100th! Wow! Presently I am working on Clothes Pin Hangers and making good use of my stitch ripper ;>)
ReplyDeleteAwesome giveaway! I am a regular follower. As you are an avid reader, you must read "Glass Castle" by Jeannette Walls - it is an incredible story and so good that I will probably read it over again every few years!!
ReplyDeletehooray for 100 posts!
ReplyDeleteI've been meaning to make some pincushions. :)
Oh, and I'm working on about 20 or so quilts I think... it's ridiculous really. :)
Lots of project, I am just getting into quilting, and have two Christmas panels that I am going to start with so it isn't going to be a lot of waste if I really mess it up.
ReplyDeleteI went to classes when I got my new machine and so I am really excited about putting what I learned to practice... also I need to find time to do all the things I want to do.
Hopefully this fall/winter I can get into it more when I don't need to work in the garden.
I follow your blog.
ReplyDeleteMy latest project....ot should I say projects? I'm working on a queen sized quilt with matching pillow shams, a lap quilt for my Mother and a scrap quilt.
ReplyDeleteCongrats! I have two projects going at the moment...a Double Irish Chain and a Charm Pack quiltalong!
ReplyDeleteHey Em, wow 100 posts already? I've mostly been working on making some more cloth diapers- most of Emmies are so stained (from over-use) and falling apart that I need more for the new baby. I love looking at all the cool things you're doing though and it helps me feel like I am a part of your life- like when we were at ODU. Love you tons hun!
ReplyDeleteNew to the site, but lover of quilting and anything with ruffles! Interested in reading more you have here. Great job!
ReplyDeleteI am glad I found you and we can now follow each other and not loose track this time!
ReplyDeleteA package of fabric arrived today that I am really excited about ...it is Little Red Riding Hood! I can't wait to make something with it.

ReplyDeleteCongratulations on your 100th post - and thank you for celebrating this with your readers. The last project I completed was a baby quilt and pillow. It turned out well, and is wonky with dino trolls and handquilting of stars. And, I do not own a pincushion, so this is a perfect giveaway for me.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations! I'm in a paper piecing mood today.
ReplyDeleteI started yet another quilt even though I have several tops not quilted. It is black and white with green and is just so pretty that I have to get the top done.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on your 100th post.
thanks for sharing. i wish i worked with you :D i'm knitting scarves and hats for christmas gifts now, i want to make some coasters too. i love your quilts, looking forward to more pictures.

ReplyDeleteNotecards would be awesome! I'm one of those dinosaurs who still writes letters - there's nothing like getting personal mail amongst all the bills and junk!!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on your 100 posts. The last thing I made was a bag to carry my cutting mat and rulers. It was made with some of the 5" squares I received when we did a 'Pork chop swap' (flossieblossoms title).
